Oxyhydrogen Generator for Trucks
For a truck operator, an oxyhydrogen generator is a piece of chassis-mounted equipment with a power budget, a service interval and an expected effect on burn quality. Judged that way — as equipment rather than as a claim — it is straightforward to specify and evaluate.
Technical explanation
The generator draws a defined DC load from the 24 V system while the engine runs, converts deionised water into mixed H₂/O₂, and delivers it into the intake through a bubbler and flashback arrestor. Water and resin-filter service intervals are set so they coincide with the vehicle's existing maintenance schedule.
Everything downstream of the intake is unchanged: no injector work, no ECU calibration, no exhaust modification. That matters for warranty conversations, for fleet standardisation and for the ability to remove the unit and refit it to another vehicle at end of life.
Combustion effects
Line-haul work holds the engine near a constant torque demand for hours, which is where enrichment gives its most repeatable behaviour. The first observable change is usually visible smoke under hard pull, followed over time by a shift in DPF regeneration frequency.
Efficiency change should be established with a fleet protocol: matched vehicles, matched routes, matched loads, several weeks of data, alternator load accounted for. Anything less produces numbers that cannot survive scrutiny from a finance team.
